Frequently asked questions
What makes the Naturepedic 2 in 1 Organic Cotton Kids Mattress feel different to sleep on?
It offers a choice of two sides: a smooth, waterproof side and a plush organic cotton quilting side, allowing a switch between a firm, protective surface and a softer, more cushioned feel.
What is the mattress made of and how will that show up in daily use?
It uses a certified organic outer cover with a non-toxic polyethylene waterproof coating on the top and sides, plus a non-waterproof side made from certified organic cotton quilting, and its core uses sturdy steel innersprings for support.
Which bed setups is this kids mattress best suited for, like bunks or platforms?
It is designed for versatility and works well in bunk beds, platform beds, trundle beds, and traditional foundations.
Who is this mattress a good fit for, and who might prefer something different?
It’s a good fit for young children transitioning from a crib to a big kid bed who value a two-sided design and organic materials; if a firmer or all-plastic waterproof surface is preferred, you might consider other options.
How do I switch between the two sides and when would I use each one?
Use the smooth waterproof side for easier cleaning and spill resistance, and flip to the plush organic cotton quilting side for a softer feel during sleep.
What should I know about caring for this mattress to keep it in good condition?
Regular rotation between sides helps even wear, and using the waterproof side reduces moisture exposure on the interior materials.
